>>2114729OP your question is super fucking board, because it almost sounds like you are asking what should i pack for a 3 day hike/camp, tent sleeping bag and shit like taht exist out side of "Emergency" supplies, that kinda stuff is just your basics.
Emergency generally implies that the gear is stuff needed in case something goes super fucking bad. Me personally, for a 3 day hike inna woods IE away from most people, i carry an ouch pouch which has basic first aid shit
>Band-Aids>Pain meds>Ich cream>Burn ointment >Tweezers>disinfectant >Butter fly bandaids>Liquid skinThen there is the actual first aid kit which has
>Gauze >Hemostatic gauze>Petrolium jelly gauze>Israeli bandage >Cat 5 tourniquet>Some sort of coagulant powder in case shit is bad.If you are super concerned, you can buy a GPS beacon, but they run like 300 bucks and you gotta pay a sub to keep them active, if shit goes back, you pop the beacon and emergency crews are notified and go get you.
THE MOST important thing you can do for you own safety, and is the biggest fucking mistake people make, TELL people where you are going and your expected return date.
If you are going Inna woods, tell some one where you are going, your planned destination ON A MAP, actually point it out to them and even give them a copy of the marked destination and your planed return time, and if you dont contact them by X date/time, have them reach out to you, and if they cant get a hold of you by y date time, contact emergency services.
Telling people what you are doing is important.
If you also are really worried, get a ham radio, and learn what the universal emergency frequencies are on. Even a cheapy Baofang with a antena can reach 5 miles out, and then tell who ever you are with, that you will be operating on a 3x3x3 emergency check in. That is, every 3 hours you will be broad casting on channel 3, for 3 min to make contact.
