Hi /out/ I want to get into survivalism

Would this be a good knife to start out with? Specifically for learning different things with but also as something that will last a long time..

It's on sal right now for about half price, I know it's a good knife and a lot of it is personal preference but as long as it's a good knife for learning with and something that will last me a long time I'd like to get it.

Thoughts?
