I remember a few years back when some hurricane sent big waves up our way hundreds upon hundreds of people ran to Thunder Hole thinking the booms were going to be really loud. Predictably, the waves swept over the viewing platform and since nobody could run away because the crowd was so thick, a couple dozen people got washed out to sea.
But even the idiots can't spoil this place for me.
