I've always enjoyed solo camping, sleeping in a bivy. Lately I can't get this thought out of my head though; what's to stop a deer, bounding through the forest, from landing on me?
I could wake up one morning, 300lbs of deer concentrated into 2 sharp little hooves, piercing right into my lower abdomen.
Am I being paranoid, is this an injury that happens?
I'm starting to think It might be worth taking my 2-3 man tent on solo trips just for the peace of mind.
