There is no such thing as a hat that provides good sun protection and also looks good, is there? I've literally been trying to find one for years. I do most of my hiking in the Appalachians and I just wear sun block on the rare day that I'm exposed. But I'm doing the Colorado Trail in July and need a proper hat. Looking good is more important to me than preventing cancer, but I would like to do both.
