I used mine daily

It has a clasp on it so I just keep it on my front belt loop and it's always at the ready. I have one like picrel

Multiple times a day. Last time was to pry open a stuck tin 4 hours ago. I feel naked every time I have to put it in checked baggage or a swim locker.

My leatherman is the default best set of pliers at home, at least once a week it has genuine use.
All the other tools get used once a year at most.

I have pic related. Couple of weeks ago I used the Philips to open some screws. I also used the awl to punch holes to some rubber. Used the scissors to cut thread while sewing. The smol flashlight, despite not being that powerful, sees frequent use during the darker days of winter. I should probably replace the batteries soon.

Short answer is 20 years ago because I didn't bother replacing my leatherman when it got stolen. No idea why people go crazy over those POS I'd rather have a real tool then a half assed one.

I use a leatherman every day doing farm things. Blah blah they don't replace real tools, but you don't carry a toolbox around when you're on foot in the middle of a paddock or getting around on a quadbike. Fair enough if you don't have a need for one, but why the seething and thread posting against them?
