Okay /out/, so lately I've been getting really bored of modern society, sitting at home and using the computer and living my boring life. I want to leave it all behind, and go hardcore camping. Not bitch camping, with every single fucking thing I have at home packed in a tent, but just finding some abandoned spot in the middle of goddamn nowhere, with a few necessary items (knife, lighter, sleeping bag, machete, etc) and survive by myself for a few weeks. What would I need? What would you recommend I do? I'm not totally clueless, as I have camped in the wilderness with no civilization nearby, but I've also had a crapton of supplies. This time I just wanna live off the land and do the best I can, regardless if I die.

Pic related, the kind of place where I live, but it'll be summer when I start this, and I live in Australia so freezing to death won't be a problem. (I should hope)
