I still like it cause I can hang it up at camp and be able to spot my area way easier when I start gathering wood. I myself carry a spot emergency beacon, a phone (hopefully I got signal, or maybe a text can get through), firearm with enough rounds to do the 3 shot distress call multiple times through out the day, a bic lighter to set the forest on fire, I let people know where I am going, also carry a rape whistle too. I know, even with all that gay shit I can still get unlucky and my body never found, that's just life and it's not gonna stop me from going out.
