>>2142279Just got back from a 50 mile hike. My summer kit is pretty dialed in and I've posted it here before, but here it is again:
Pa'lante packs 'Joey'
Gossamer Gear 'The One' tent
Gossamer Gear LT5 poles
MLD Vision Quilt
Neoair x-lite
SeatoSummit ul pillow
2x 750ml bottles
1.5L Evernew water carry bag
Sawyer Squeeze
Plastic (coldsoak) jar
Titanium spoon
Loksac odor proof food bag
Montbell tachyon windpants
Montbell Versalite rain jacket
Montbell fleece beenie
Smartwool glove liners
Buff
Kuiu pelaton 97 fleece hoodie
+ Mountain Hardware puffy if needed
Gossamer Gear pack liner
Gossamer Gear 1/8" ccf pad (cut down)
I've been using the neoair x-lite regular since 2015 and decided to try the regular/wide version recently. Took it on this trip for the first time and it was definitely more comfy. If I was doing a long/fast trip I'll probably still go with the regular, but for overnights and local stuff I'll probably be using the wide version. It's worth the slight weight penalty. I have quite a few different setups, but this has been my summer light/fast-moving setup for this year. I'm happy with it.
