>>2145634you forget the latest thing that they used to run people off successful self-sustaining homes/land.
GRASS, you have to have so many feet of well cared for and trimmed grass per person and amount of land
dwelling size will continue to increase because of investing in your own homes and artificial market manipulations
legal access will continue because people LIKE to block all access to properties and claim it as their own(that neighbor moving the fence over your property line/taking over all the parking/stealing/destroying your garden/grass)
WARNING: Only decent family have a VERY NICE VALLEY, near a state park, everyone wants to take it from them. Same for streams/rivers/lakes/etc.
Water will always be a big one, Washington state is famous for outlawing all rainwater collection. Partly to protect local gov monopolies in water providing. Partly to keep Californians with meth in their brains happy(wouldn't affect their water supply amounts/would actually help since aquifers would go farther than those rivers)
Power, gov monopolies, will monopoly. Require solar/wind to tie into grid, require regulators that will cut you off from your own power/require to use theirs. Now charge you for your own power too.
Septic(this one actually makes sense in most cases, too small property for some setups/badly done/made for others/literally poisoning your land and others/water)(get around with incinerator toilets)
zoning, politics at both the national and the large crazy person with a pitchfork level, also property values/crack meth problems
