I'm looking for a waterproof, noninsulated shell jacket that I can layer over a fleece jacket I already own. Problem is, most waterproof shells are hardshells, and look like they're made of newspaper. Is there a fully waterproof jacket that isn't so crinkly? The Stealth Hoodie LT is the only one I've found that fits the bill so far, but it's fucking $500.

I'm going skiing at Big Sky during my winter break and I need something for the snow, and something that will keep out the rain when I'm back home.
