I buy 3L packs from brand "aquatic way" on amazon. I have probably bought 8 of them so far, but then I drink gallons of water a day. You don't want the ones in OP for a couple of reasons. The ones that are held together at the top by a clip are flimsy and liable to break, you want something that is fully sealed in plastic. Also, the Aquatic Way one has a handle you can fit your fingers under with three finger shaped holes, which you want for stability when holding it while you fill it. Also, you want a mouthpiece (I use camelbak brand big bite mouthpieces) that you don't have to clip open and shut. The one in OP if you don't have it closed, it leaks, with the big bite type valve system as long as the plastic mouthpiece is on it, it won't leak and you can drink water easily without having to remove and replace a cap every sip you take, which gets very annoying.
>>2148018I also use these as backup water packs because they are light and easy to fill (in addition), as well as two Buzio brand (I think) 97 oz vacuum water bottles for keeping in the car filled with ice water that stays cold all day.
>>2148375I use it for biking and hiking. No problems.
The weakest point on a bladder is where the cap attaches to the opening to pour water in, that will degrade over time and you will need to replace it eventually, and sometimes they spring a leak, but most people probably are not going to use them as heavily as I do (I take a bladder every time I go out).
I wouldn't pay money for brands except where you can't easily avoid it. There's no reason to pay for a branded vacuum water bottle, they all work the same. I would suggest buying a fitted straw lid so you can easily sip. Having to screw the top off to sip is annoying.
