I only go outdoors during winter because i'm afraid of lifelong complications of tickborne diseases.

Bro you can't be serious. I've had literally hundreds of ticks in my life and I'm completely healthy. It takes at least 24-36hours, once the tick is attatched, to actually contract lyme or other diseases. I find the paranoia about ticks on this board so fucking hilarious. Just get a pair of tweezers and pull them out every evening. It's not complicated.

I'm extremely hairy too, but it's very obvious when you have a tick as the spot will start to itch after only a couple hours. I've never had a tick under my pubic hair. I've had a few on my testacles but it will itch and you will notice, inspect the area, see the tick, pull it out, maybe disinfect the area (i rarely do), and go on with your life

my sisters husband cant eat beef/pork because of some tick bite he got as a kid. he gets an alergic reaction to it now and his throat swells up. he has a 700 acre ranch in texas with cattle on it and can only eat a couple bites of steak without feeling extreme discomfort. shit sucks. i guess at least here in the desert we hardly have any bugs

can confirm, had multiple ticks one morning out of fucking nowhere, red spots starting around 1 of the bites, went straight to doctor, 60 days of horsepill antibiotics and no alcohol allowed, blood test after medicine is finished, no signs of infection
