if it's your first time trying any species, eat one or two mushrooms and keep the rest in the fridge (in paper bag, like grocery store mushrooms).
Then wait 24 hours to make sure you're not allergic to them, like how some people are allergic to seafood or nuts.
you should pan fry them in butter with a bit of salt to try first, then add butter. They have a nice apricot flavor which is pretty unique for mushrooms

I'd stay away from the magic mushroom threads though, those are mostly underage zoomers trying to get high but too socially anxious to ask the high school weed man
