Yeti products are in that "well, it's fucking moronically priced for casual use" and yet "it's only a hundred bucks less than 12v chest freezer".

If you want mobile cold that lasts a long fucking time, go dump $500-$600 on a 12v chest freezer. Another $150 and you could power it, and your cellphones, and everything else while you're glamping.

If you DON'T want to spend $800 to keep stuff cold indefinitely wherever the fuck you go... Spend $40 on a normal fucking ice chest.

I love my Yeti cooler, even though 95% of /out/ hates them. It will last me a lifetime and holds ice like no other.

That being said, the Yeti Tank is ridiculous. You can buy a normal plastic tub for like $10-$20 bucks, and this kind of drink/ice holder isnt ever gonna be used in a rugged enviornment

For $10 you can get a tub just like that and for $30 you can get a cooler just like that. The cooler differences are negligible as was calculated months ago when this shit was posted.

Thats awesome that you dont like your yeti 5 years down the line. Others have different opinions. You act like your opinion is the end all on the matter. And considering Yeti is a multimillion dollar company, I doubt they give a fuck that a few people arent happy with them.
