>>2157329If you cut your grass too short, it burns out and you don't have to mow it as much. It's more socially acceptable than taking a flamethrower to the lawn or paving it.
I leave my lawn longer so I have the shaggiest lawn in the neighborhood in June but the greenest in August. Still looks a little scraggly but it beats using uncontrolled weeds for color.
Still wondering how much I could get away with turning into a "pollinator garden".
