There was a bear in my tree! He crawled up there after my roommate left some garbage on the 2nd level porch (next to the tree) and hung out for a while before climbing down, peeing at the base, then waddling off. No fucks given (pic related, but not my bear.)

I've cleared the garbage and chastised the roommate (a visitor to these lands,) but I'm worried about repeat visits. How can I neutralize the smell of the urine left at the base of the tree to discourage future visits?
