What the fuck can I do /out/? I don't have the money to buy all new equipment.

Items lost to bugs:

>One 1P tent, One 3P tent
>2 sleeping bags
>Several vintage plant ID handbooks

How can I replace this for under $200?

Anything that can fit in a dryer is salvageable. Dryer will kill them and their eggs, roast the fuckers on high heat. Dont bring contaminated items inside if you have not a,ready, use a public laundry instead. Quarantine any item after being cleansed, vacuum sealing would be ideal.

I lived in an apartment years ago and ended up having to throw out most things I owned due to the cunts. If they are in your house, you honestly may want to consider a professional exterminator.

I lived in an infested house throughout my childhood, and they are so terrible I literally have PTSD symptoms now. Any itch at night will have me scouring the edges of my mattress.
There is a point of no return with these things.

wash on hot twice, then dry in direct sunlight for a day (or in the dryer on hot, twice)

the stuff that cant be machine washed, scrub with a scrubby brush and soapy water to get any bedbug eggs off.
pesticides like this >>2166453 wont do shit to the eggs, and the eggs can lay dormant up to 6 months before hatching.

problem with bedbugs is

Might be fucked, I don't think the fabric or glue will survive temperatures that would kill the bugs, and don't trust anything store bought to deal with them. Maybe contact an exterminator and ask if they can gas your possessions with their next house for a 100 bucks?

OP Here, taking all the advice from this thread and just gonna do all of it. Overkill is the only way at this point, there are literally hundreds if not thousands of these in my sleeping bag alone.
One sleeping bag is trash for sure at this point, as there were holes in it. Tents and packs should be fine after I

Books are fucked from blood and droppings.
