I've heard people say that you can. Basically, if you crush the tick and then rub your eyes or touch your mouth it can lead to infection. I tend to just flick them off instead of crushing them just to be safe.

You wont get any Lyme disease unless you're squishing a genetically modified tick and then if you do Ivermectin will kill the disease flat in it's tracks because it's another bioweapon released on the american public by the american government, there's a reason why every lyme disease prone tick is on the east coast all centered around one island.
