What do you guys think about the platypus water filter?
i've had a ceramic filter pump for 10 years and on my last trip it was 10 pumps for 1 ounce of water. my friend had this goddamn gravity fed thing that did 1.5 liters a minute, should i get it?

they only last for about 300 gallons then you need to replace a part for 50 bucks
it is 100 bucks for the platypus system, i paid 60 bucks for my ceramic pump 10 years ago
