>This is Clayvin Herrera
>Herrera was a game warden working for the Montana Crow Reservation
>In January of 2014 Herrera with two friends crossed the Montana border with Wyoming into the Bighorn National Forest to go elk hunting
>The problem?
>They don’t have tags, licenses, and it isn’t hunting season
>Herrera and his companions proceed to chase down four bull elk in a pickup truck
>They shoot all four animals with an AK from the cab of the truck
>All animals are shot multiple times before dying
>One animal is shot 16 times
>They take the heads of the three mature bulls along with the choice back strap cuts of meat
>No effort is made to harvest any type of meat from the carcasses
>The yearling spike bull they killed is left untouched
>Later Herrera and his friends post photos of 4 bull elk on the website Monster Muleys with the caption “Good year on the Res”
>Wyoming game wardens match these photos to the slain animals
>After the firearm and their computers are seized Herreras companions immediately confess and plead guilty
>His computer is seized
>Evidence of Herreras long history of packing, drug use, spousal abuse, strangulation, child abuse, and over 800 images of child pornography are recovered
>Herrera pleads not guilty citing a defunct treaty from 1886 and that he was forced to do it to feed his three children (the ones he abused) with the meat (that he left to rot)
>Herreras case is taken to the Supreme Court
>The Supreme Court rules that the treaty stands exempting the Crow from having to purchase tags and licenses to hunt public land in Wyoming which is 50% public
>It is estimated highly managed species such as Bighorn Sheep whose tags fetch a high price earmarked for conservation will see 1/3 to 1/2 of tags forfeited to the Crow Nation
This is the state of conservation. A back seat issue for politicians seeking to forfeit our entire nation to a tribe of drug addicted, kiddy diddling, corrupt, alcoholic, Mexicans LARPing as an extinct species.
