>>2170952Canada, Russia and Australia are king for untouched wilderness, but if you want to actually go /out/ and not be at risk of dying from bears, snakes, wolves etc then your best bet is New Zealand.
Landscape is beautiful mountains like Canada with less trees.
No predators or harmful creatures whatsoever.
Good out 20min drive from literally anywhere in the country.
560 something well-maintained DoC huts in their fantastic Hut system that only costs $50 a year to stay in as much as you like.
Tramping trails fucking everywhere, ranging from the world famous Great Walks, Routeburn Track, Milford Track and the Te Araroa, down to hardly-used 10-day tracks that disappear into the wilds that maybe 3 people a year visit.
Birdfags and Botanyfags have a field day too cuz of all the native species.
Camping laws are pretty lax compared to other countries too, just check fire conditions before lighting a campfire.
>>2170978Australia's plenty cold in winter, but surviving the heat of summer is just common sense.
>Slip Slop Slap (look this up if you dont know what this means)>dont do anything outside between 10am and 3pm>do all the outside physical work in the cooler hours of the day>dress properly for the heat (big hat, loose-fitting cotton, white and other bright colours)>drink a gorillion litres of wateralso helps that the best months for /out/ in Australia are Autumn and Winter. Spring is awful cuz birds attack you and Summer's just to fukken hot.
