hi, my parents live in an area with a few miles of woodland behind the property. i am a never-/out/ and i don't know what i need to do to make sure i don't get bitten by snakes or ticks or whatever. i just want to walk around for a couple hours and see what stuff is out there.
there are no trails. it's in east texas.
