I want to add medicinal herbs to a garden I'm throwing together, in case something happens in the next year. I'm not looking for soccer mom bullshit, rather herbs with true medicinal uses in the form of decoctions, tinctures, salves, and fomentations.
Specifically, I want info on plants which are anti-inflammatory, antiseptic, or those which fight certain symptoms like headaches, pain, etc. Specific and general use examples are appreciated, and don't exclude foraged plants either.
Books on the subject of medicinal gardening and foraging (in the central Texas area specifically) are also much appreciated. Thanks!
