>>218764Not him, but that was some top-tier liberal ranting you got yourself right there.
>Not aloud to do anything un-safe, it's bad for society! Perhaps it's the whole societal thing that drives people away from it, to act in the "dangerous" ways which you've mentioned?
The only reason that living a life in that manner is "costly to society" is when they make rescue efforts, which they only are required to do because the person isn't just allowed to fill out a "Fuck it, I'm out" form to submit to your all knowing and all caring government.
Seriously, the person you're arguing with has a very loose definition of what the gubment should be able to do, you have a much tighter view. You're arguing two extremes without realizing that it's about a middle ground.
But yeah..... I think it's funny that you don't necessarily see that perhaps the reason people like this (Bear man, wilderness people, McCandles etc etc) exist, is because of people like you (Fit into my cookie-cutter society! Be safe! Never color outside the lines!)
Loosen up a little. And person you were arguing with, tighten up just a tid, you're almost there (But who the hell am I to say where there is?)
Carry on sc/out/s, it's you all that make me love this board.
