Yes, I already Had downloaded the geological maps of my area but this is a concluence zone of many different kind of geological ages, so sometimes it is difficult for me to differenciate between rocks.
It is a preCambric zone plus other ages. It abounds slates but also granite. In some small rivers near here the Romans already searched and found gold, so I keep taking a look just for fun at rocks or the water bed of some little rivers.
I basically wanted to know how to know if a certain rock (for ex. those in my pictures) could have a mineral inside or not (I dont want to be breaking all rocks I see so I want to be more precisse).
For example, those white big rocks are marble? The one where I have my foot on. In the geological guides of this area it does not talk about marble, but it looks like it. And what are those yellow and grey lines in the marble rocks? Pirite?
At first sight can you see any possible interestinG rock from my pictures? What sre those round circles marks on that big water stone?
