I've made an entire burka-robe of mosquito netting I take /out/ with me because of my fear of bugs. I soak it in permethrin and get the sniffles because it's like a sheer ghostly bee-suit full of chemicals.
Still no lyme or malaria so I'm pretty happy. People do stare sometimes though.

now they don't bother me at all. it's almost the same as mosquitos, I barely feel them and they just leave a small bump that itches for a day or 2.

I'm still scared of horse flies though. fuck that.
