There is an abandoned barn and farm in my county on the outskirts of suburban development, and over the years suburban creep has kind of surrounded it but to the east it is still an open field but nothing has been planted there for a few years. The barn and farmland is owned by the county.
I went exploring in the barn with my friends months ago, and inside the barn, the county's school districts have basically piled all their scrap and trash there, old desks, old stadium lights, etc.
Very recently, last few months, county piled dirt around the entrances, and put "no trespassing, video monitoring in progress" signs around it. Fucking hate this shit, literally can't do anything fun in America kek.
