I miss the outdoors.
I lived near a little patch of woods when I was a kid. It was so big and mysterious when I was young. After a while I could identify every lizard and snake and every birdcall. Catching lizards taught me to walk silently, and I still scare people on accident when I walk up to them from behind today. I would walk with a stick in front of me to knock away the banana spiders, and eat the blackberrys that stopped growing in that field after they did the controlled burn.
I miss it. I'd love to get into the woods at some point in my life again, but I don't live in the right place for it. If you were going to move anywhere for it, where would you move? Ideally someplace with water, so I could fish.
