Chinese brush pens are great
Just carry a small plastic bottle for washing brushes, it’s the most economical solution
You could go lighter if you wanted by buying tubes of paint, squirting them onto a lighter plastic tray/folding palette. This is best when you’re experienced and know what colours and mixing surface you prefer
A board of Coroplast makes a very light and tough surface, use binder/bulldog clips or pegs
When you git gud start using things like gum Arabic and salt, and a tripod with a flat mount for larger pieces. Bring a chair and a white umbrella or white tarp to diffuse direct sunlight on your page
