Right before we got off the trail we passed some 25-26 year old redhead femoid. She seemed a little fat, but maybe she was working it off. We were sitting down at an unused campfire ring on some logs since we were tired.
She stopped and said hi and chatted some shit about whatever, and she saw my AK slung across my chest and noped the fuck out of there.
Lol she just blanked out and walked off when she saw it.
I literally was sitting with it facing towards the ground my canteen in hand taking a sip of water, and when she noticed it I guess her woman brain was just like ooh scary ahh, when in reality I am the least likely person to want to hurt another person in the entire state trail system.
She was more likely to get hurt by some of the literal homeless people smoking weed on the trail than me a straight-edge guy who just like camping and target shooting.
The gun didn't even have a scary clipazine in it. I had a ten round mag without one in the chamber in just to keep the humidity somewhat away from the magwell.
It was kind of funny given how previously on the trail several other groups of hikers thought my rifle was cool and a fine piece as they put it.
Even A Married Elderly BRITISH Couple on vacation thought it was cool. And my AK is banned in Britain.
We even saw a fucking black bear like 200 feet away from us on the trail, but I'm sure the female was totally prepared herself for such a kind of dangerous wild animal encounter and totally was NOT expecting that there wouldn't be anything of danger in the woods that she might want to prepare for.
