You have to make friends with people who do /out/ stuff, and naturally you will begin to encounter women who share those interests.

I'm in my 30's and over half the people I know are not even dating, let alone married, and I think they're just never going to. From what I can gather this isn't an unusual observation either. If you find someone you click with then pounce. That alone is lucky. If they are not outdoorsy you can train them. Probably a better bet that waiting for a unicorn.

I have never met a person who was freaked out by a quick trail chat. Everyone's endorphins are up and in a good mood when /out/. They'll be happy to chat.
Just don't lead with pickups. Like calling them beautiful or whatever. Just talk to them like a normal person. Be funny. Be interested in them. Get a little flirty near the end but nothing too obvious. Ask for a number. Why do so many people sperg up when talking to women?
