whats a good, light weight camping chair. im looking for one that has back support that i can crash in after a long day.

in Yuru Camp, they use the Alite Mayfly !
However, due to the company going under and the popularity of the show, they are hard to find and expensive when you do !
I however was able to get a Monarch, which is the same chair without the front stand- and it sits a little higher because of it.

I have one from Sportsman's Warehouse that does the job pretty well. Probably weighs like 1.2lbs or something. Not as light as they come, but still pretty convenient.

Definitely a backpacking essential for. Fucking sucks to do a big day of hiking and not be able to lean back with my boots off at the end of the day.

Got theese at Decathlon when I was in France a few days ago, they were like 30 euro each, compared to the helinox chairs that go for 140 euro lmao, almost completely identical in design, weight and everything, probably made in the same Chinese factory haha

The chair one from Helinox is pretty comfy and light, the downsides are you can’t slouch back too far and getting in and out of it drives the legs into the dirt, I think they might make a crossbar DLC for that though.

one thing that I like about the Mayfly is that the legs go straight to the ground without crossing, it always seems like a week point - any other chairs with similar design?

I have this bad boy but I don't take it on anything over 3 miles. Also I'm 200 pounds and I don't think I would recommend it if you are much higher than that. It's a game changer being able to lean back though
