Wrong. Treat your gear and clothing in permethrin. Don't get the overpriced Sawyer crap in the yellow bottles. Get the 10% solution. You can buy it online or from your local coop. I mix 1/4 oz with water in a 1 quart spray bottle. Spray down all your shit, let dry completely, and enjoy never having a tick on you again.
