>>2218575I got linked here in my thread, so I’ll bump, but;
I just got a 45 lbs bow and want to practice archery. I used to shoot a bow a little bit when I was a teen but don’t remember a lot about it.
I’ve been looking into getting lessons but they are all multi week courses with bullshit like the history of archery thrown in and 45 minutes from my house. I just want to set up targets on my land and shoot them.
I have a bow, brace, glove, straw target, and target arrows already, I can string my bow without a stringer, and am very familiar with fire arms safety.
Is it actually worth it to try and find basic lessons? Would I benefit much from it?
I haven’t shot an arrow with the new bow yet because I’ve been debating if it is responsible to do so.
