>>2221028He did serve, he's not lying about that, but he did fudge his resume for the Discovery Channel a bit more than he should have.
https://www.nationalenquirer.com/celebrity/canterbury-tales-dual-survival-liar-revealed/I only watched one episode of Dual Survival after they replaced Dave with Joe Teti, sure Joe had the verifiable experience but I found him fundamentally unlikeable. Dave and Cody had a good Rapport, Cody and Joe, not so much, I've even heard Cody say that Joe threatened to kill him once.
I can overlook a mistake, he owned up to it, and the amount of content he puts out on YouTube free is something I've always appreciated. He focuses on things that work and are practical as well as getting by with a minimal gear set by having the skills to do so though he does shill his own gear and do reviews of other gear like any other YouTuber but his primary focus is on teaching skills.
His channel is there if you want to check it out, and make up your own mind about whether what he has to show you would be useful to you.
