Hey a tent thread. Just when I was looking for one :-)
I always thought it was impossible to tent in winter, but then I saw this video:
https://youtu.be/JJo8_9V-414Apparently all you need is a tunnel tent with an inner and outer tent, a good winter sleepingbag, a thick foam sleeping pad and an inflatable sleeping pad, and good wool underwear. No need for heating.
I always wondered how this guy in the ward survived because he would go out all year round into the wilderness every weekend and come back after a couple of days and all he had was a sleepingbag, tunnel tent and sleeping pad.
You don't even need to dig down through the snow to the ground apparently.
