>>2225039What are you going to use them for? The image quality, battery life and illumination can vary greatly. I have used older cams that are better suited for my needs than the newest ones. There is also a huge benefit for running multiple cheaper cameras. More coverage and less of a chance of it ruining my day if it gets stolen. Never had it happen though.
Seriously though. I am going to be out scouting heavily over the next few weeks. A subscription isn't getting me prepared for the season at all. The camera is such a small part of my scouting and prep because there is so much that it cannot possibly capture. Prints, scat and game trails give me more information. I enjoy checking my cards anyway and confirming what could be present.
I use mine for trapping so I am not a typical user and generally they fall short for this. All mine are about a foot off the ground and will simply flood anything too close at night. Still have no issue telling what it is though. I currently have 4 of these that I am putting out this weekend. My current model is discontinued so you can find some deals. Simmons also sold the same one in black that works great for a hollowed out stump. Picked my last one up for 9.99 used on ebay. Super long run time and works OK for 2 foot night shots on shy coons, possoms and foxes.
