Newest pack is this guy made by Loring. It's an Adirondack style pack basket that I am going to use for trapping this year. Super strong and light on it's own. Can turn it over to sit on it, wash the blood right off it. Got the waterproof liner with interior pockets for gear. Sternum strap and shoulder pads. Carrying about a dozen traps, anchor driver, spade, masonry hammer and a bunch of other tools. With all my gear it is prolly 60+ pounds fully loaded with an animal.
So far it is super comfy with plenty of room for pelts and things to make a cold day in deep woods enjoyable. My trapline is only a mile long at most though so the weight isn't a killer.
