Do you just use regular kitchenware, or some leet, super light titanium spork with foldable screwdrivers or whatever?

I stay in airbnbs and they generally provide (shitty) cutlery.

I bring my own sponge, a spatula, a wooden spoon, cooking spray, plastic wrap, tin foil an instant thermometer, and my own chef's knife (airbnb knives are all dull). I bring other stuff but it varies how much cooking and of what sort I plan to do.

I've bought a number of cans of clams to make pasta with for my next trip.

I normally take a compact fork/knife/spoon kit, a decent cutting knife, p-38 can opener, a small cooki g pot (about the size of a Progresso soup can), and a couple cut sheets of aluminum foil folded to be compact

I always use chopsticks, a little meat fork, swiss army knife with can opener and that's it.
For cooking i use a zebra billy can 1,2 litres or as an american would say 243.4617 US teaspoons

I use the Coghlans fork, knife, spoon set I got when I was a kid. Similar to this.
If you're really cooking you'll want some more tools.
