>>224679I posted the diagram, but not the offending statement. Which, admittedly, is pretty retarded and needs some explaining.
>1) Are you aware that the Earth is tilted on its axis, and if so, what consequences does this have for the northern and southern hemispheres in different seasons?Yes. 23.5 degrees.
I'm aware of what this means for the earth, and how it explains seasons.
>2) Can you define "western sun" in any meaningful way? It's a stupid way to put it, but I was assuming that the poster was referring to North America/Europe, and of course these continents span a great deal of latitude, they do not approach that of the Philippines. As such, the strength of incoming solar radiation is likely stronger in that part of SE Asia almost always more so than what you could find in NA/Europe.
>3) Are you aware that what you are claiming is that the "sun" in the tropics is less intense than the "sun" in western Europe, and that this goes counter to the erroneous claim implied by the picture you posted? What? I don't think anyone is implying that the sun in western Europe is stronger than in the tropics...
>4) Are you operating under the assumption that the OP is a girl, and you are "her" white knight?Yes, you've got me there. A few posts above mentioned sweet boypussy, and I'm holding out hope that OP will post his/her tumblr and we can meet someday on the top of Mt. Talamitam.
It should also be noted that the sun has been belching out solar flares over the past week, and so OP was super super super smart in providing extra protection against the sun's damaging energy.
