Also, I kind of miss times when Catalina was considered "too big" for a lake. This summer I've visited the area in which I learned how to sail, first time in 15 years. Average yacht was 40+ feet long and anything below 30, which was always considered excessive and just flat-out too big to maneuver on the locks, now looks like dwarves in comparison. I've picked a small handful of yachts that were at or below 20, and majority of those were reworked into motorboats instead. Kind of sad.
