For me, aside from them having the degree I want, I think the main draw is the /out/ location and I feel like alpine/Brewster county is a solid place to be considering the current state of the US. Also looking at a lot of the BS happening at other colleges and I know that part of Texas has more conservative libertarian types I think it might be a good no woke BS college. I know alpine is a little boring but most towns get boring after awhile unless it’s like a major city plus a boring town is probably more conducive to learning lol.
I think anon no matter where you pick you gotta pick somewhere with like minded people. I’m pretty much only considering small rural colleges because they skew more towards my type of people. Places like SRSU are gonna attract more /out/ types and people going into /out/ related fields, so if that’s what your into you’d probably be happier there or any other similar college than at some big prestigious inner city college.
Just my two cents as another college searching bro.
