Good luck with that, i'm in NEPA and here's my weekend forecast.

The whole northeast is clouded in/rained in from tonight until sunday, so no point in even trying this weekend

How would you expect to see it? Isn't the majority of the US' night sky completely ruined by light pollution? If you can get a chance to see them I'd definitely recommend you try to, where I live we see them regularly but they're always beautiful.

These events are never particularly worth it. Usually it’s a dull glow on the horizon. The aurora is overestimated in terms of brightness due to camera allowing in more light. Only way to truly see it is spending time close to the poles
