That being said I wouldn't hike with them or suggest anyone does(That's what waraji are for), these in particular i made myself and i honestly did a pretty shitty job. They were fine for walking around in the camp but i imagine properly made ones would do much better. Still, i doubt i'll take geta with me next time i go camping.
