All you need to do is look at the actual nomads in the world. The few people who have left society to live in the woods aren't nomadic, because it's much much harder.
Nomads have transportation like horses, carts, large groups, and/or vehicles.
All you have to do is look around you. Look at the homeless. The homeless are in cities because there are resources there.
You not only want to live in the woods, but also be nomadic.
Living like this, no tent or gear will last for 10 years.
Living in the woods is one thing, doing so while being nomadic and living out of a backpack, alone, with no transportation, is retarded.
Have you ever lived alone? Find a grocery store around 3km away from you.
Now, the only way you are allowed to buy food is to walk there. That means you are only taking the amount of food that can fit in your backpack with you when you go to the store.
