Hey animal trackers of /out/

I'm trying to teach myself track identification, and went along down to a river bank in Manitoba to attempt to begin to draw and record.

I found a track highly similar to the one I drew, to the best of my ability, and yet I can't seem to identify what creature it belongs to with online prints.
The closest I have found is the river otter, but my grandfather has never seen one in the Red River in all his years.
