I just moved to Washington DC, where can I go outside? I like all types of scenery but lush, deciduous forest is my favorite. I’m willing to drive several hours to off the map hidden gems so if you know any, please let me know!

DC anon here there are places if you are not a weirdo I can show you. The actual area around DC is a wasteland filled with the worst type of riff raff. Appalachian trail., Luray Caverns, Crab Tree Falls, colonial beach are all within a few hours of you. Check those out.
I would imagine Pennsylvania has some decent places as well

If you are not a total retard anyone can find nice places an hour and a half outside DC but the local spots are not getting shat up with worthless trashing taking pictures of themselves you fucking vermin. I know of spots within 30 min of DC where you can stroll in pristine natural habitats abundant with wildlife year round, I know where you can find off road trails that rival some national parks but none of that will ever be shared with someone who posts it to social media.
