I live in the PNW and I love the rain so often I'll just go free graze with my lease horse while it's pouring. He's out in the pasture with a massive and fire-y gelding who took a while to trust but has a heart of gold. These animals saved my life and got me /out/, taught me a lot about sticking to something, though me applying this outside of riding still has a long way to go. My life is still hell in a lot of respects, I think it will always be and I can't really fault anyone other than myself for that if I want to make progress, but they give me a glimmer of hope.
