I disagree somewhat. Human life is not worthless but it is not inherently valuable as some believe.
I generally agree with what Linkola said, human brilliance only exists in a few and the vast majority of people are worthless. At least, the majority I meet and talk to are.
My opinion is that human life has to be made valuable by the individual human, most do not make effort to make their life valuable, if they do not want to make their life valuable then in my opinion they should not be seen as valuable. No free rides.
Also some nations tend to have more brilliant people than others, so on the topic of race I think it depends. If we take India or Somalia (just as examples) they are going to have far fewer brilliant people per capita than a nation like Norway, because Norway has a better culture which encourages human brilliance and has better facilities for this. When you say "regardless of race" it seems to me you are scared of being called racist. I'm not a polfag, but I can see obvious differences between nations.
